Garden Tapestry is almost complete, save the signature, and it will be ready to ship to my client. This large work of art will adorn a kitchen wall in Montreal, Canada, and I hope it brings light and blossoms to a home that sees a bit more winter than Flower Mound, Texas.

It has been such a delight to be assigned a commission to paint all of my favorite flowers. I feel like the proverbial kid in the candy store being able to create something on this scale, and I also keep remembering the day in the summer when I was about 8 years old when my mother gave me a giant, tiered box of 84 bran new perfect Crayola crayons. I love painting large and with bright color, perhaps this is more color than some would prefer, but it makes me smile.

Hi Nancy,

You continue to do fantastic paintings.

That photo of Peanut, and his story - oh! I hope he finds a wonderful home.

Two of my favorite formats, large and lots of color. I can see this in someone's kitchen. I hope she sends you a photo of it hanging in it's place of honor.

Thank you Karine! Peanut had a line of folks wanting to adopt him, despite his handicap. : )
