A Nice Place to Dream is a new oil painting drying on the easel in Flower Mound Studio this evening. This painting is a combination of scenes from the Dallas Arboretum's red tulip panorama, with a background courtesy of San Diego's Balboa Park Spanish architecture. This feels like a nice place to dream to me. Somewhere it would be safe to believe in a miracle, and somewhere you might meet a loved one you have missed for years.

Beautiful and most poetic thoughts and dreams, Nancy. Flowers are gorgeous but those calm and peaceful purples are absolutely drawing me in through those arches...

A lovely scene, Nancy! One can always dream of a whole new world waiting for the person who goes through the arched doorway!
