Iris Garden in the Texas Sunshine

Today was such a beautiful day, the sun is shining and the air is still cool. I have definitely been on an iris kick since my visit last week to Argyle Acres Iris Gardens. My largest iris to date is this new work, Iris Garden, which will be on display in my booth at the Wild About Flower Mound Festival. I thought it would be fun to put this painting in our own iris garden in the back yard. Take a peek and let me know what you think! I also put an old favorite picture of Studio Assistant Howie and his big brother, Java, enjoying a nap in the sunshine.

I hope you have a wonderful day and get a chance to nap in the sunshine with someone you love!

Here is Iris Garden in its element, so to speak!

When Howie was a baby, his big brother
Java never left his side.

Oh those little boys! I just love them both!

I love when you set your pieces in the garden like this, Nancy. It truly shows just how beautiful and magnificent your pieces are. This is gorgeous.
