Spring Fever Sunflower

Spring Fever Sunflowers by Nancy Medina

This little bouquet of yellows, greens and purples is based on a lovely flower arrangement from my solo art show in Fredericksburg, Texas, at The Good Art Company Gallery last week. As soon as I laid eyes on the sunflowers in a beautiful pitcher on the front table, I grabbed the camera and began snapping photos. I simply could not resist. We had a big hail storm today, then rain, then sunshine. Typical Texas weather. With all that variety, how could they leave Spring out of the mix? We lucked out with clear skies on the day of the show and had a great crowd!

Here's the sign out front for the Friday
Artwalk event in the Texas Hill Country
at The Good Art Company Gallery. My
work will be on display in the front
gallery during the month of March.

The front table was filled with color and
cool stuff, as well as my paintings!
Here's the flower arrangement that
Spring Fever Sunflowers is based on.

Just had a lovely time going back through these posts that I've missed. And the magnificent paintings! Wonderful Nancy. With sunflowers appearing, Spring must be in the air.

Beautiful sunflowers, as always Nancy. I must say that the use of the silver coffeepot for the vase is inspired!

This painting hit just the spot I needed for today. Your gorgeous yellow sunflowers, so bright and cheery, as it has been raining for 2 days here. Dreary, gloomy what else can I say. You made my day! Give the pugs a hug from us!
