Pansies Le Petite

Pansies Le Petite by Nancy Medina

This little work of pansies is one of many that will spring from all the inspiration I received from the Dallas Arboretum over the past few weeks. This is the absolute best time of year to visit the Arboretum. The picture below was taken last summer on a day I was painting in the garden, the arboretum tulip season was over but the delphiniums were in full sway!

I'm hoping to get out there again in the next few weeks, while the blooms are at their peak. If you see a lady in a goofy hat in the arboretum with green paint on her nose, that'll be me!

Me looking goofy in the Arboretum

Gosh Nancy. You don't look goofy a't'all! Cute in fact (love those sunglasses!). This pansy picture is perfectly picturesque. Ok, enough alliteration. It is beautiful, especially those deep and rich greens. So verdant!! And please tell Howie P. that I saw his photo in your newsletter and he really should wear his sunglasses when basking in the sun. His girlfriend worries. And by the way, that bit of a water feature behind you makes me want to sit on the edge and dip in the toes.

You nut, you don't look goofy at all. You look like beautiful Nancy to me : )

I'm loving the Pansies. In fact I almost bought some this past week but didn't. Lowes had a bunch of different varieties and I was very tempted but Brent and I were in a rush so it didn't happen. Soon. Very soon.

How is everything?
