Geranium Joy is a little bit of brightness that gave me a break from a large container garden painting this evening. The big painting is for the Arboretum show March 20, but this little one was calling my name. I am still playing catchup from being away for my solo show in Fredericksburg, Texas, at The Good Art Company Gallery last Friday.

Fortunately, I do have three able assistants who remind me of all the important events of the day - snacks, playtime, and napping on the nearest pillow or foot that is nearby and still long enough to gain purchase upon. Speaking of assistants, AnnieBee is still regaling her colleagues with tales of her adventures accompanying me to the big art show. She was definitely the belle of the ball. Here are a few pictures of Annie related activities which took precedence during the weekend in the historic Hill Country town.

AnnieBee poses graciously for the
pupparrazzi in exchange for a snack

Annie directs her chauffeur (aka Dad)
to her fav doggy boutique, Dogologie

Window shopping should always precede
purchases so one has time to ponder where
new toys can fit into the current collection

A lovely painting, Nancy! I also have large heads of geraniums to paint before winter when storms will set them back! I am so in love with your "assistants", I am going to ask my sister to read your blog this minute!

Beautiful geraniums but that AnnieB steals the show, methinks. Love that lift and separate halter of her's too. Typical woman there, always having to keep on top of things on the home front, eh?
