As a play on words, I called my art newsletter last week the "No More Winter Blues Newsletter" and filled it with yellow images. When the sun came streaming in my window today for the first time in weeks, I felt like a weight had been lifted - I had been blue myself and didn't even realize it! Usually if I need a smile, all I have to do is look around me - my studio assistants are always finding ways to make me remember the priorities: food, napping, food, and napping, preferably next to the heater pal.

Love the cat in the hat bed, looks cozy! My car loves the floor heater.

On a cold Ohio morning. the most beautiful thing I could see is your painting. Oh.... and Howie, of course.
I am officially applying for a job as a studio assistant of yours....lol! Looks like there are many perks...lol!

Nancy I kinda thought you meant your cat! : ) That cat in the hat bed is actually FOR cats, but I have not been able to convince Howie of this fact.

Manon, you guys get the REAL cold. Is Otis-Pants wearing a sweater to stay warm?

What a beautiful painting, Nancy. I love the twin pots, different colors. Sets a nice harmony between the two varieties of flowers! And that Howie...He's my boyfriend.

Thank you Sherry! you always make me feel great lady. Howie adores cute ladies so he has asked for your phone number. don't worry, he won't really call, he has no thumbs. : ) xoxoxo

There's nothing like a warm, sunny day to lift your spirits and make you feel whole again.

I can hardly wait to pick out Geraniums for the planters and see the Sunflowers reaching for the skies!
