My god-daughter and her mom came over to play in the snow today - we have had at least five inches and it is still coming down this evening. I was painting in my studio a few moments ago and heard a rustling noise just outside. When I opened the front door to see what was happening, there lay a big branch from the tree out front. I sure hope that poor tree only loses one branch tonight, they are predicting ice and more snow.

What a perfect present, snow on my birthday and a visit from my god-daughter, and the office was closed so I didn't have to go into work! The pugs were oblivious to the work thing, but especially enjoyed double brekkies since mom was home. Wherever you are stay warm and bring your little critters inside where they belong!

Happy Birthday Auntie Nancy!
I am so happy that mother nature is dusting you with some snow flakes. And hope you can stay home tomorrow to snuggle,,,, and paint.
We are waiting for sunflowers and geraniums too and I hope they are as pretty as the ones you paint.

And look at those beautiful morning glories in the background! What a beautiful plethora of pretty flowers, Nancy. As always, just masterful touches to every flower painted!
