Hurry Spring - Red Geraniums

Hurry Spring - Geraniums by Nancy Medina

Oil on Canvas

You can tell what kind of mood we are in at Flower Mound Studio today. We took the squeaky fish toy out into the yard for our regular game of "Annie and Java take turns chasing the toy du jour while Howie kibitzes on the sidelines." After some decidedly unenjoyable splashing around in the mud, Annie stopped chasing fish toy and thus the party ended.

Annie decides brother is good for something...

There is a strange peace in the cottage.

I agree with your plea, painting and post...HURRY SPRING!

love your art, so much :)

Nancy, this is just so very beautiful! I love the background, both the colors and the brushstrokes. I am sure Howie was just thinking of moi during his kibitzing on the sidelines. He is mooning. Yep, that is what I think! But that AnnieBelly sure has some spirit and I am quite pleased that Java will give her a bit of a run for her money. They keep each other on their toes!!

Howie and Annie are so darned cute! Oh my goodness it's like a big pile of sugar. Lol!

I actually was looking for spring flowers the other day to put in the kitchen window. No luck yet though. After all, it is only the beginning of February and we're still due for a good blizzard.

Thank you Missy Muse - doesn't the world feel perfect when the pooches are happy and snoozing nearby?

Sherry, Howie was most certainly dreaming of his favorite Aunty! I hope you are staying warm and enjoying a cuppa tea today...

Sharon, you have quite a bit of winter ahead don't you? I wonder when you're photos will be of flowers again...sigh! : )

My dear Nancy, I love this geranium painting. I am so impressed with how much painting you get done WITH a regular job. You (and your snuggly puggies) inspire me. Thank you!

Thank you Melissy, I don't think Annie enjoyed her bath tho, she claims it destroys her natural perfumes.

Karine you have been busy too! I LOVE your Joshua Tree painting. It is a keeper... xoxo
