Sunny Blooms - Purple Hydrangeas

Sunny Blooms - Purple Hydrangeas

I fell in love with this sunflower-colored pot the moment I saw it. The best flower for a yellow pot is purple, so the hydrangeas found a home in my studio for few hours of color yesterday evening. They're predicting temperatures in the teens, and a wind chill in the single digits tomorrow. All the more reason to be thankful for the fresh flower shop in the organic grocer around the corner. Sometimes I even forget the cookie aisle I get so infatuated with the blossoms.

Hi Nancy
Those vibrant purple hydrangeas remind us of what to look forward to when summer comes.
A beautiful painting!
Seeing them in the yellow pot does makes us feel good- just like Manon said.
We have a yellow pot like that too.
We have some hens and chicks in them.
