Manna From Heaven - Dallas Arboretum Koi Pond

Manna From Heaven by Nancy Medina
Dallas Arboretum Series
16X20
Oil on Canvas
SOLD

The Dallas Arboretum has a collection of koi ponds, but this one is not in the Japanese Garden. I found it by accident over in the new area of the garden by the roses. What a treat to see all the koi swimming around hoping for a snack.
My thanks to the gentleman who saw me snapping pictures and ran over to toss bread in the water so I could get some good pictures of fish noses peeping up for tidbits!

Very cool. Mom saw a huge one when she went to the land of hula girls.

So very pretty, Nancy. A bit softer on the brush work than you usually do but it works so well for this piece. It seems to have an impressionistic feel...I love it as I do all of your pieces!!

This painting made us feel like we wanted to sit and feed the fish.
Such a peaceful feeling.
You are so talented- there must not be anything that you cannot paint!
This is beautiful!
