White Lily Solo

White Lily Solo
Oil on Linen Board

Inspiration for White Lily Solo

I haven't started any of my holiday shopping, with the exception of a batch of new toys I picked up at the store for the pugs and placed on the kitchen counter before wrapping. Annie has a sixth sense about new toys, and even knows when they are out in the laundry room and have not entered the house. As you can see in the picture below, Annie persuaded me to let her have the new toys early. It looks like I haven't gotten any of my holiday shopping done after all! I hope all of you are more organized than I have been this year, and that you also have a bit more will power than I do when it comes to the daily demands of your studio assistants....

It's good to be queen.

Hi Aunt Nancy
Your Lily is beautiful!
I know all the tricks into talking mamas into giving me presents early. I do it all the time. It looks to me like Annie has mastered that trick.
Wow, did she ever get some good little presents!

Methinks I want to trade lives with that Queen Anniebelly. Yep, that's the ticket! Well, Nancy, you've shown me something new again today. I honestly did not know there were white lilies (besides calla lilies, that is). This is one of my favorites, I think. I love the close ups of one flower and the background of this one is so warm and delicious!

Annie looks very please with herself. She's a persuasive girl and she knows it ; )

Lovely Lily, Nancy. I like the almost burlap looking background. Of course I love Lilies anyway.

TweedleyPug, something tells me you have many prezzies under the tree this year! You are one of the most beloved puggies we know, and that's exactly as it should be.... xoxoxoxo

Thank you Val, I have been admiring your gorgeous works!

Liz what is your weather like this time of year? I just wonder cuz my feet are freezing and I imagine it's much warmer there?

Autumn, you are a great writer, you know that?

Sharon when are you getting your first snowfall - do you know we had snow already? xoxoxo
