Sunflower Skyline

Sunflower Skyline

Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

Sunflower Skyline is blooming on the easel in Flower Mound Studio this evening, with Christmas movies in the background and pugs snoring underfoot. In between flower painting I've been working on a commission of two young pug brothers who live in nearby Southlake, Texas. The best part about the two models is they gave the artist kisses!

I got some good news today - I was juried into the Artscape at the Dallas Arboretum March 20-21, 2009. I hope you will come by and see me, it's always a great day in the park and a great art show!

Congratulations on your acceptance into this art show, Nancy. I am not in the least bit surprised as your work is always stunning. I love the dashes of pink next to the blooms of the sunflowers. It just makes them stand out so beautifully!
