Purple Iris Garden

Purple Iris Garden

SOLD

8X8
Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

I've been cultivating new blossoms on the easel like crazy this week, since the flowers outside succumbed this morning to the winter we thought would never come. A heavy snowfall gave us a surprise wake up call in Dallas, but the ground was much too warm to hang onto the fluffy fat flakes for long. It felt like a gift, and someone giving me a nudge to remind me that magic can happen when you least expect it.

Beautiful irises, Nancy.

Nature is like that, full of wonderful surprises.

Hugs to you and the pugs,

Magic can happen indeed! This painting is magical for me. The colors and the ground with it...just beautiful Nancy. I am surprised not to see a little AnnieBelly snoozing amongst the pretty flowers!

Love the sentiment, Nancy! And your irises sure are happy - I find them a challenge - you make it look easy!

A lovely iris painting....I am enjoying the snow with all Texans! (my children in Katy had their long-awaited snow too. Here we are already boiling so much at night that it is difficult to sleep.
