Geraniums in Red

Geraniums in Red by Nancy Medina

Oil on Linen Board
Daily Painters Gallery

Geraniums were the flower of the day in Flower Mound Studio with a pot of red blossoms nearby, while white snow was still dusting Winnie's Garden near our back patio. Studio Assistant and Activity Director AnnieBee posed for the paparrazi during our snowfall on Christmas Eve Day, and was looking so lovely I simply had to share her with you. They are predicting more snow on Tuesday, so this could be a banner year for Dallas and the white stuff we so rarely get to see. Annie doesn't mind snow so much, as long as it does not touch her feet.

Anniebelly looks like she is saying, "Mommy?" Gorgeous girl, that Annie. The geraniums are beautiful, Nancy and your work on that clay pot is phenomenal; the color and texture...I can almost feel it myself. The geraniums are just pure bonus and a reminder of the spring to come...

Hi Nancy
We had to come get another glimpse of Annie in the snowflakes. What a phenominal photo!
And you painting is spendoriously beautiful. We love the shade of red!
Thank you for sharing.
