Garden of Wishes - Container Garden

Garden of Wishes - Container Garden
Oil on Canvas

Garden of Wishes is a small container garden with many of my favorite flowers, and the last I will paint in 2009. There are many things I wish for on New Year's Eve, but I have not yet decided upon a resolution. On my 30th New Year's eve, I made a resolution to begin painting. I kept that resolution, but redoubled my intensity 2 years ago after I launched my Web site.

I have so many goals still ahead, and so many hours of painting that will have to happen in order to reach them. Thank you to my friends for your words of support and for taking this art journey with me. Happy New Year to you and your loved ones from me and the fatties in Flower Mound Studio! I wish you peace and joy in the new year to come!

What a beautiful name for your painting!
The painting is just beautiful. There is soooo much to feel and look at in this painting.
We love it so much!
That little Annie Belly wearing the beautiful sweater vest from Aunt Melissa is so precious.
What a wonderful gift.
Happy New Year

The only goal Annie has is to keep her tummy well fed and keep dressing like a diva ; )

You certainly are doing well with your painting Nancy. I'm so impressed with the goals you've already accomplished. I'm sure 2010 will be another good year for you!

I just knew that was AnnieBelly sporting that luscious sweater! She is gorgeous! Of course, the painting is wonderful too, Nancy. I think after lilacs, hydrangeas are my next favorite flower. All of your florals are just simply gorgeous! May 2010 bring you the realization of your dreams.

Well, FIRST of all...(and this is from Paco, who is at my side reading blogs) Annie... you look HOT in that outfit! I think Emmitt had his mom make this one EXTRA cute just for you!

OK, I'm back - Nancy you are such a wonderful artist, so generous and fun - I hope 2010 is chock full of artistic success and personal satisfaction for you. May you and Carlos and the Fatties have a wonderful year!
