Bright Spot Sunflower by Nancy Medina

Bright Spot Sunflower
Oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas

Christmas has come a bit early to Flower Mound Studio, and the four-footed studio assistants all have new rawhide bones today. Java chews for a moment and then gets distracted, while Anniebelly attacks hers with focus and determination. Howard, on the other paw, spends hours obsessively hiding his bone, retrieving it, and hiding it again, pacing about the house with the bone hanging out of his mouth and an extra wrinkle or two on his brow. Tomorrow morning when I put on my slippers, there will be a bulky rawhide bone inside, unless of course somepuggy changes his mind and puts the sticky treat under Carlos' pillow again.

Ok,all I can say is, Lady you do know how to paint flowers. The way you use light and shapes, nice...
Argyle Acres Iris is magic. Well done!

What a funny Howie! I love the vision of Anniebelly attacking her new rawhide with gusto! LOL A girl after my own heart. And Java sounds like he just loves the world and there are just not enough hours in the day.

I must say that when you do super closeups of flowers...they are always my favorites. I am not sure why but they just strike such a deep chord. Beautiful work, Nancy!

Thankyou for the kind comments, you guys have lifted me up today and made me feel wonderful. I have fallen behind in my bloggy as was happily trapped in the studio working on a huge painting for days (daze)!
