Sunflower Duo

Sunflower Duo
Oil on Linen Board

Sunflower Duo is a new small work from a collection of little sunflowers blossoming on my studio easel this week. This little one will stay behind, but the others are all going to take a trip down to Fredericksburg with me later this week to the gallery there downtown. The Good Art Company Gallery is always such a great place to visit. It's in a historic building in downtown Fredericksburg with wonderful creaky floors and high ceilings and big windows that let in such beautiful, natural light. Walking through the gallery feels like visiting a place from another time.

This Dallas Arboretum Hydrangea painting sold last week to a San Antonio art collector at The Good Art Company Gallery. She is also a fellow artist, so I am especially happy she loves the work.

Both of these are exceptionally beautiful! I also loved seeing the photos of your pug babies, squeezing into the dog bed made me laugh out loud.

Enjoy your E.Texas Thanksgiving and remember to do whatever Mom says! ;-)
