Joy, Sunflowers and Lilacs

Oil on Linen Board

The sun was out, it was 70 degrees, a perfect
day to paint out on the porch.

The rains finally stopped long enough
for my geraniums to regroup this week.

Painting next to a live subject can be a real
wake up call for finding true colors on the palette.

One of the perils of painting outdoors is when your
new painting falls face down upon your star blossom.
I'll leave that picture up to your imagination....
