Bits and Pieces, Sunflowers and Gerberas

The little foot heater is chugging along in the studio this evening, and the pugs are snoring on their favorite bed. The colder it gets outside, the more I want to paint summer colors.

This little video is a favorite from a few years ago when we had a rare snow in North Texas. We are crossing all of our fingers and toes for another snow this Christmas. In order of appearance are starpuggies Howard Pee Pugpants, Winnie Wigglepants, and Java Cheesy. Happy holidays to you and your family from the Medina Foster Home for Wayward Pugs!

I love your close-up perspectives of flowers, Nancy! They bring such light and joy and area feast for the eyes! Methinks Java Cheesy is especially beautiful with that dark coloring on his face. However, he did not seem much interested in either the snow or in playing! LOL Howard and Wiggles, on the other hand made me laugh right out loud, especially when they licked the snow out of your hand! LOLOL Such cuties!

I'm glad you guys enjoyed the video of my puggies in the snow, I made those red scarves from an old cut up sweater and I thought they looked just spiffy in them. Java took his hat off and you couldn't tell, but he was jumping up trying to bite that darned old hat in his first scene. (take one, Java action sequence).
STay warm friends, hug your little ones for me and happy painting to you!
