Homecoming is a new sunflower painting drying on the easel in the studio today. I am packed for a trip to Boston tomorrow and I am really looking forward to the trip. But the homecoming will be the best part. It always is.

The brushwork on your sunflower petals is amazing! The are expressive without being overworked. Strong composition and I like the color combo. Just beautiful!

Wow!! You have posted so many gorgeous flower paintings since I last visited that viewing them all is a heady delight! The vibrant, sun-drenched colors are amazing, and you have a gift for presenting each blossom as a unique, irresistible individual.

I so much wish I could attend the art show to see your work in person in a couple of weeks. Maybe some day.
