Pitcher of Red Poppies and a Texas-Sized Invite

Pitcher of Poppies

Oil on Canvas

I found this awesome little pitcher at a boutique in Southlake, Texas, last weekend and could hardly wait to get it home and fill it with red, red flowers. Of course, there were no red poppies to be found in the stores, so I settled for red carnations to give me just enough kick to imagine they were poppies. This painting and several other new works will be featured at the art show Somewhere in Texas with the Texas Daily Painters at Dutch Art Gallery in Dallas in October. If you'd like an invite, drop me a note so I can put you on my mailing list! I would absolutely love to see you there.
