A Peek Inside Flower Mound Studio

Here is a peek inside Flower Mound Studio this week. A real closeup
would reveal paint spatters on the walls and multiple tiny nailholes...

I didn't crop out the door on this one so you can get an idea
of the scale of some of the works. The only thing I don't
like about painting on a large scale is gesso-ing that big
ole canvas!! Holy cow that takes a lot of work.

But wait, what's missing in these pictures???

You and your cute assistant don't need to be outdoors to enjoy the pleasures of a beautiful garden...

I think it helps so much to see these all together, it gives us an understanding of the relationship of the various sizes.

Yeah to lunch, I'll send you an e-mail next week and we can make plans. :-) Ok, Anniebelly is the cutest thing, I may need to paint her, we should talk...

Anniebelly!!!! How I want to give her a good cuddle and a quick scratch on her belly. I love seeing your paintings altogether in this setting. It's like being surrounded by a magical flower garden.

Nancy, stopping by to wish you and your sweet Pugs a very happy and safe 4th of July holiday. Love the shots of your studio.

I had the same problem with multiple nail holes in my walls. To help eliminate that, I use 3M picture hanging strips. I just discovered them a few weeks ago and they have been a real life saver.
