Night Blossoms and Meet the Artist Event

Night Blossoms in the Garden
Oil on Canvas

Join me at Stems Gallery in historic Grapevine, Texas, Friday, July 17, from 7 to 9 pm for Meet the Artist Night during the Summer Festival downtown. All my newest paintings will be on display, including my three foot wide container gardens, fields of bright poppies in oil, and many of my miniature works in all floral varieties, colors and sizes. We'll have a drawing for a free original work of art for everyone who stops by. I hope to see you there!

Wish I could be there! I'll be there in spirit. Your paintings should do very well there. And I love the lushness of this painting...

OOooooo ... you're just as creative with your photo shoots as your paintings! The blossoms appear to be growing right out of the terra cotta planter. Beautiful.

Thankyou for the uplifting comments! Sometimes after hours alone in the studio with just me and the puggies, I remember I have all my dear friends out there and it is not such a solitary journey any more. : )

LOL - re-read what I just posted and my grandmother's ghost just whispered in my ear "Uh oh, are we having a pity party for Nancy???" and then her ghost whipped out her miniature violin and played it while we all cried. Ah, I miss her so. She always made me laugh!

Oh Nancy
Your paintings make our heart beat so calmly! What can we say?
You are my magic painter.
Please paint your flowers on my heart.
I wish we could come. I wish we could take a walk.
We count our lucky stars that you have come into our life.
Please remember all the friends you have that wish they could come, but can't . We are just a heart beat away.
And your Grandmother is just a memory away
