I think I've said this before Nancy but you are the Queen of sunflowers. Your paintings fill me with joy!

Your sunflowers are so realistic! I can feel the weight of their heads in your paintings.

How beautiful is this!! I would have never thought to put lilac or lavender next to Sunflowers but they are glorious here. I love the unique canvas size too. This is a standout!

More beautiful flowers from you! I'm loving that pink poppy on the right side of the blog too!

Hi Nancy, wow, love the format. Once again, beautiful happy painting. That's what I love about your blog, it sheds happiness and sunlight.

Sunflowers are, hands down, my favorite! However, as an artist, which do you prefer to paint? (flower type?)

thanks everyone for your kind words! Missy Muse, I go through flower stages, for a long time my favorite was sunflowers, then geraniums, now I am falling in love with painting poppies and hollyhocks, something about the shapes and colorful petal shadows draws me in. Thanks for asking, it made me think!
hugs...

Love your art, your splendid flowers, but especially sunflowers "salpicadas" with purple in this beautiful painting.
