Party Favors

Party Favors, Heirloom Roses Original Painting
6X8
Oil on Linen Canvas Board

This blue flowered bowl in Party Favors is one of several I have painted recently that are owned by a dear friend of mine who has traveled the world collecting English glassware and antiques. I got to know Jennifer and her husband Dave when they adopted one of my foster pugs, Oscar.

The bowl was fun to paint, and really seemed to come to life when I placed the orange flowers. Like a pair of red shoes with a black outfit, they just made the whole thing pop!
