Happy Holidays, Nancy! Absolutely LOVE your flowers. Do you teach? I'm starting to take a course in oil painting (water-miscible) and love the colors that you use. Although, I'm in Vermont, I may be able to take a trip down to Texas sometime for a workshop or something.

BTW: If your one facebook, add me... you can see my awesome doggers (bedlington terriers... Maggie and Boomer). Just as cute as your pugs!

Happy holidays Dougie - your birds are awesome! I don't teach anymore, I used to teach adult watercolor. If you can catch a workshop with Robert Moore, I highly recommend him both for florals and landscapes!
happy new year to you and Maggie and Boomer from the Texas puggies...

Thanks Terri and Manon - poppies sure are fun to paint! They're like potato chips, you can't paint just one. : )
Terri, what is your puggy's name?
happy holidays ladies and hug your furbabies for me!

HI Nancy -- Bailey is my puggy;s name-- she had a rescue brother named Barnum that went to a trucker :)

Barnum and Bailey - how cute! Bailey is a doll. I don't know what I would do without my fatties helping me in the studio. I am sure I wouldn't get anything accomplished!

Nancy, the colors in this painting are gorgeous. Greys, teals, reds, greens ... very soft and subtle. Very elegant. The painting itself is beautiful.
