Along King's Road

Along King's Road
11X14
Oil on Canvas

Along King's Road is a street scene from Fredericksburg, Texas. I enjoyed painting the cool stones under the orange pots on this one, and making the pavement look like something more interesting than asphalt was accomplished with some nice deep purples.

I love painting in Fredericksburg, Nancy! It's a beautiful place. This is another great piece. The blue drape inside of the window is perfect with the orange flowers!
