Oil on Canvas

Growing up on a farm in Texas, one of the most exciting summertime events (besides going barefoot for 2 months) was the thunderstorms. They would roll in suddenly, the wind would whip up and the temperature would drop 30 to 40 degrees in a matter of hours. This painting, Thunder, is new to my gallery and reminds me of my childhood, running around barefoot in the rain.

You are such a gentle painter. I love that.
