Jean Levert Hood - Artists I Admire

9X12
Oil

Texas Artist Jean Levert Hood is a master at bright, clean color. She was one of my happiest discoveries when I started blogging - a fellow painter with studio critter-helpers who loves to paint Texas landscapes and has absolutely no fear of bright color. Visit her blog and her Etsy store and hurry - she has a holiday sale going on right now and if you are wishing that Pink Fields could be part of your collection, well it's too late. It's mine! All mine! I'm going to hang it here in my studio next to my master artist wall of inspiration right next to my Ann Hardy geraniums. Thank you so much Jean for sharing your work and your talent with all of your fans here in Texas!

Nancy, I am so honored that you did a post on me! How very kind of you. I'm thrilled to be on the wall next to Ann, she's one nice lady. I took a workshop with her a few years ago, and enjoyed getting to know her.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I'm very grateful for your feature on me.

Hugs to the Pugs!
